Boeing Grey, Airbus Grey

British Light Aircraft Grey (also known as Light Gull Gray in the US military) is too brown for Airbus or Boeing greys. Those colors are a very neutral grey shade, with no obvious brown or blue component.

The IPMS Stockholm (Sweden) web site has a great color cross-reference for FS595 and every brand of model paint on the planet.

PS: And yes, I have actual paint samples of BAC 707 Gray and the light grey that Airbus uses, and they are identical. I've looked at them in every possible light, and they're absolutely the same color.

PPS: Note that when an airplane (Boeing, Airbus or otherwise) goes through a D check and is repainted at any of a million different places, the exact shades of paint may or may not match what it left the factory with.
